Vintage Handwoven African Basket with Cover, Straps and Cowry Shells

A weathered handwoven basket made of hemp, leather and cowry shells - with a top that looks like a hat. It’s in almost excellent condition considering it’s age, which I will estimate is around 50-60 years old.
It has three leather straps for holding besides additional straps and hat have between one and three cowry shells. The handwoven hemp has subdued colors of red, green and just a little of purple. The basket looks a bit like a hut.
Clearly African, I do not know of its exact origin, alas.
