Vintage Mexican Movie Poster “Immaculada” Golden Age of Mexican Cinema
A framed, vintage Mexican film poster, from the golden age of Mexican Cinema, 1950. The graphics of this particular piece stand out dramatically. The colors, blue and pale yellow incorporated into the type, are executed with flair and style. The actor, Eduardo Noriega, sips from a cup while sitting in a wheel chair, reflecting on his past looming in front of him: the face of a beautiful woman, haunting his thoughts, all while playing a violin. The superb execution of the illustration almost makes watching the actual film irrelevant, as it brilliantly portrays the melodrama of sorrow and disappointment, hovering in the shadows... The poster has a small tear that runs about 8 inches, perpendicularly through the bottom of the wheel chair. Barely noticeable but evident, the price has been adjusted accordingly. Measurements are 35 1/2 " Length, by 26 5/8" Width.
