An all silk rug that’s been framed since the mid 1980s! Navy blue and beige with some softer colors within the dragons, it’s in perfect condition.

The wide black lacquer frame is strictly 1980s and for some it’s what makes this so good. I was tempted to change out the frame but that would hike up the price. So you be the final judge!

As for dragons, they are a common Chinese motif that signify power and valiancy, determination, dignity and divinity. One of the dragons gifts is to help with water, drought and battle typhoons. Unlike western cultures, the Chinese dragon is a beloved, benevolent creature bestowing its goodness and power.

This piece measures 63” high by 32” wide, including the lacquer frame.
